Otis McDonald, Adam Orlov, and Colleen and David Lawson are ordinary, law abiding Chicagoans who simply wish to exercise their Second Amendment rights. Joining thesm as plaintiffs are the Second Amendment Foundation and the Illinois State Rifle and Pistol Association. The legal team is headed by Alan Gura, the noted civil rights attorney who successfully led and argued the landmark challenge to Washington, DC’s gun ban before the Supreme Court. The site, and all articles in it, is written and maintained by Gary R. Riel – a Chicago citizen who has been following the Chicago Gun Case since its inception. While Gary isn’t personally involved in any way with the case, he fully supports its cause and seeks to raise awareness for it among both the citizens of the city and foreigners.
